Armenian Genocide took place 1915-1917. 1.5 million Armenians died on death marches at the hands of the Turks. The HOLOCAUST?

Different dates of start and end. Take your pick. 1939-1941 OR
Janary 30, 1933 - May 8, 1945.

The typical amount of dead is usually listed as 6 million. But other articles written about it say it is more nearly 11 million. Again. Take your pick. This was at the hands of the NAZIS.

I was going to list all the genocides that have been recorded but was shocked to discover thee have been hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of them through the ages.

The why is obvious. HATE and FEAR. The most consistnet predictor of murders and exterminations is HATE and FEAR.

My question is this

Why are so many homo saps so predisposed to HATE and FEAR? What is the defect within them through the ages that drives them to HATE and FEAR and exterminate?

Does anyone understand why that is?

The Congolese genocide perpetrated by Leopold II of Belgium was arguably worse than the Holocaust, and was motivated not by hate but by greed. If the slave workers didn't meet their quotas, their families were mutilated or murdered.

I wonder m'dear. Does the "REASON" really matter? Is one less tragic than another? Dead is dead. Bottom line. SIGH. Haven't Aborigines had their share of torment? Thank you for your reply R! :) This post was edited by RosieG at January 17, 2021 4:27 AM MST

Yep, that was greed too. As was the "Manifest Destiny" that dispossessed the native Americans. Callous disregard can actually be worse than hate. Arrogant belief in one's own superiority, to such a degree that others are so far beneath you as to be irrelevant.

So from the gitgo there has always been those who were indifferent to others if not downright violent? You know it's all in the DNA R. What would happen if in utero that DNA bit could be located and excised? Human engineering is frowned down upon but maybe there could be an exception made? Thank you for your reply! :)
