So now, cleaner air leads to global warming? So should we all pollute the air now?

That is quite ironic. I wonder which causes it faster, more sunlight or more greenhouse gasses. If humans had never polluted, would the earth be on a natural warming cycle. They have been going on for eons.

    The sun.
If it were carbon we would be much warmer based on the amount in the air.  Also most common greenhouse gas is water vaper. If they were serious about it they would be figuring out how to lower it.

References, please. You can't lower water vapor. Natural phenomenom.

Yes you can remove the catalytic converter from your car now and sell it to a scrap metal dealer for 20 bucks. There is a tiny bit of platinum in them.

Clean air causes global warming, polluted air causes global warming...  Good grief!  Is there anything that doesn't cause global warming?  What next?  Are they going to tell us that ... oh, I don't know, many be that cow farts cause global warming.  Personally I think it's caused by politicians (worldwide)... they're all full of hot air and just love to let it out.

They do say cow fart cause global warming.
I personally think the climate goes through cycles.  And man does not have the power to change those cycles.

But we should do everything in our power not to pollute the earth.

I know, I was being facetious.

The earth is not our "property".  We are only transient caretakers.  It "belong" to Someone else. We should treat it as such.

I agree. But I do not agree that redistribution of money to other countries should be part of care taking of the earth.

Climate change is caused by deforestation, not CO2. It should be plainly obvious, you know it's cooler in a forest on a hot day than a field, right? That's because of shade, but also because of transpiration, trees pull water from deep underground and evaporate it to cool their leaves so they don't overheat in the sun, it makes them behave like giant evaporative air conditioners. Well half the forest on earth is GONE, including the majority of the mature forest that's most effective at cooling. Here's a quote from a research article published in the journal Ecohydrology:

"Deforestation and consequent transition to [pasture] or [agriculture] increased the total energy (~200–400%) used to heat the soil subsurface and raise air temperatures. These differences in energy partitioning contributed to approximately three times higher [evapotranspiration] over forested areas in comparison with nonforested areas."

Two to four times as much heat, one third as much moisture going into the air, you think that might CHANGE THE CLIMATE???But they don't want you to think about the blatantly obvious reality you can viscerally experience yourself if you go outside on a sunny day, they want you to blame a gas that's four one-hundredths of one percent of the atmosphere (because it used to be 3/100ths of 1% before the industrial revolution) so they can use it as a pretext to tax the source of energy that makes your very existence possible.

And when their efforts to control climate change by cutting CO2 fail, as they inevitably will, they'll use it as a pretext to double down on the same policies. And the only effect it will have is to make plants grow slower, making the problem even worse. It's actually quite brilliant in a diabolical sort of way.
