gray/silver hair is kind of a trend tbh. people pay hundreds of dollars for a dye job so if you can grow it yourself you’re pretty lucky and trendy

I haven't gotten all gray/silver yet.  I still have a lot of brown hair, but in the sunlight, the silver seems more pronounced.

I take after my dad in that respect.  He had more dark hair than gray when he passed away at 93.  My mom, on the other hand, was all white in her mid-70s.

My 87 mothers has very few greys.  I am mostly grey on sides and top but the back still has some brown mixed in.  I stopped coloring several years ago.  I think about starting again and I always just say to myself, why?

If you ride city transit younger people will often give up their seat for you.

I think it’s different for men than it is for women. It’s said (or it used to be said) that when men go grey, it’s a sign of being distinguished, gentlemanly, etc.

I think it’s unfortunate that so many people consider it unattractive for women to sport grey hair, because personally, I like a lot of things about it, ranging from beautiful and intriguing to alluring and sexy.

My hair is still black overall, with some grey showing at my temples, on the back of my neck at the hairline, and all throughout my mustache. Years ago I stopped letting my beard grow because it was fully grey, no black at all. I never let it grow out any longer, I keep it shaved.

In the US, they gave me pensioners' rates before I even asked.

Here in the UK I have to have the paperwork.

If pensioners' rates are the same as senior discounts, I have to say that no one ever asks for proof here no matter how young you think you look or what color your hair is.

    Senior discounts.
    Younger people are more respectful.

My husband is only 54 but has had all grey hair for about 10 yrs.

Lol. It took about 15 yrs of marriage before he went all grey.

I have had a little grey since I was about 15 yrs old.   I am still not all grey.  I would not color it if it were.  I love white hair.

Advantages? I get to call anyone who does not have grey hair a whippersnapper. I get to yell at kids to get off of my lawn.

And mine - but if she was on my lawn, I'd assume she was my son's new gf.
