    The earliest recorded use of orange the fruit in English is from the 1300s, The words used as a color doesn't show up for another 200 years .

    Oh, hahahaha, I thought you meant when God made the orange did he make the fruit first and then color it.  I think he drew the orange first then decided what the color would taste like then made the appropriate fruit to fill it in.
