That's a classic ride at the fair.  It's one of my favourites to enjoy with friends.

Growing up that ride was at the beach amusement park that we went to all the time.  It was called the Abominable Snowman.   They turned the lights off and had a light show and it was freezing cold in there with loud great music......a wonderful break from the hot weather at the beach.  My kids grew up loving it too.  I bet I have stood in that line and gone in for the ride 1,000 times.  A really wonderful memory...of my youth as well as my own children.

The ride I enjoyed most was the bumping cars. I would choose that attraction to operate because I think it is the.most fun to watch too.

Do they still have bumping cars?

I've driven the bumper cars.  I'm an aggressive bumper car driver, because the things that I'm not allowed to do on a public road, I can do in the bumper car.

      The Grammar Scrambler
(I quiz the fairgoers with increasingly more difficult English language grammar questions as they spin around strapped into old fashioned wooden school desks, each correct answer slows the desk, each incorrect answer speeds it up)

The Share-‘Em Harem Magic Carpet Ride
(harem managers from around the world parade their best ladies through my runway-type ride, whereupon they remain in my dungeon-like holding dressing room trailers after the show. I agree to do the same if and when the fair happens to travel to their towns. For some strange reason, it never works out that way, and my Harem roster grows exponentially as the fair travels around. Cough, cough)

The Sandwich-Making Wonder of the World
(“applicants” whiz through a seemingly assembly line-like ride that tests their skills on preparing specialized sustenance products and are evaluated by me, the operator, on their adeptness at the required tasks, if accepted, “employment” is secured for certain ones among them at my home base subterranean production facility)

      Mount Tilde
(fairgoers either bring tildes from their homes, or purchase specially-priced tildes in the fair’s gift shops, then ride miner-type cable cars to the top of the mountain, where they throw them onto the pile in a make a wish kind of deal, causing the mountain to grow daily, and their signed releases make the items property of the operator)

Find the Avocado, Mayonnaise, or Vegemite Strip Search
(similar to TSA at airports, fairgoers who arrive early at the fairgrounds pay to screen other fairgoers as they enter to screen out hazardous substances, prison vans are on standby to take away any violators)

I think you need your own amusement park.  Perhaps it can be named Randyland.  There's no other park like that in the world.

They wouldn’t let me in through the front gate at Randyland.  They wouldn’t refund my season pass either.  I’m moving the catapult into position by the back fence.  I’m loading up the Vegemite.

Section 32 of the emergency response manual: Vats of expired and/or used massage oils are placed in strategic locations around the park’s perimeter to use as pest repellent. Staff members shall immediately and with great fervor douse Livvie if and when she is sighted within 1,800 yards of Randyland Amusements and Tilde Museum property . . .

I think he had a problem with your submission to the Sandwich-Making Wonder of the World.

A good cook knows the tastes of those whom she serves.

Any ride that I have a mike and I get to ask the riders if they want to go faster then as some of them scream no no no I keep turning up the speed. I sometimes got to operate rides when I worked at Playland it was lots of fun. Cheers!

I give you Asker's Pick because you were a ride operator in reality.  I think that would be a fun job to have.

The water attractions are always the most fun attractions.  A mermaid has a bias towards the water attractions.

You may operate the ferris wheel.  I think it's the easiest ride, as long as the rider has no fear of heights.

The carousel. I'd see how fast it could go and try to get it up to a speed where it hurls the little tykes off if it.

Perhaps there can be a prize for the last kid who's still holding onto the carousel.
