The murderer is PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. There are no presumptions about the murder victim. DEAD. This is fair/just BECAUSE?

The murderer above all must needs receive DUE PROCESS.

The murderer did not accord the murder victim due process.

Yet society SCREAMS and DEMANDS due process for the murderer.

Somehow this does not seem fair but fair is only given to the living. The dead have no need of it at all ever. Dead is dead is dead is dead. The living are the ones OWED everything they can steal grab demand.

    1. They are not a murderer until a court of law determines they are guilty of murder.  (Murder is a legal term:  the unlawful killing of a human)

    2. Everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

    3. The living ones are owed due process and justice.  (Be they suspect or victim's family/friends etc)

    4. NO. The living ones are not OWED everything they can steal grab demand.
        a. These are other crimes. Stealing is a crime.  Demanding/blackmailing is a crime.
        b. Being a crime victim does not justify committing other crimes.

Let us be glad we live in a country that uses the principles of Habeus Corpus, open jury trials (for all but a few special  circumstances), and the burden of proof being on the prosecution that is not the victim or plaintiff.
