Should the failed coup d'Etat be investigated?

Dreadful - simply dreadful

Oh, Detective. Must we undertake looking into the events of the past? Must we really? Must we dwell on the unpleasantness of a few months ago rather than moving forward? I for my own part would much prefer to move forward. Indeed, it strikes me as unavoidably morbid to ponder too closely what nearly befell my poor husband, Henry. I say “poor” only in the sense of unfortunate, of course — Henry is quite well off, and if I were ever to be his widow, I would also be quite well off. But fortunately Henry is still alive, and I am not his wealthy widow, and that is not a scenario we need to worry about or look into at all!

How that arsenic got into his martini, well, one just cannot say, can one? “Answering questions under oath? Under oath, Detective? No, I think not.”

Yes, we need to investigate what happened on January 6.  We need to find out which of the parties that were supposed to be protecting the Capitol let the insurrectionists in.  It was an attempt to overturn what has been the will of the people.  This is not a Banana Republic - it's the United States of America.  If we wanted to be ruled by despots, we wouldn't have had a revolution.

Not a failed coupe.  You do not try to overthrow a gov with just your cell phones.  If they were coming to overthrow anything they would have armed. (Not arms in their car...but with them ready to use)

    Yes.
We should know why protesters were let in the Capitol? (Gates moved and people waved in)
Why were Cap police taking selfies with protesters?
Why did police escort protesters to the Senate chambers?
Why the media was taking staged pictures?
Why there was little police presence?
Why was NG not used?...why was is use declined multiple times before the 6th?
What did McConnell and Pelosi know and when did they know it? (They are who turned down the NG before the 6th)
Why an unarmed protester was shot?
Why JadenX (BLM leader) filmed bragging "we did this. Look where we are." "I wish I could have told you more before."  Yet he was not arrested?

Who benefited from the 6th? Not Trump. It stopped the plan to investigate the questionable states.  That benefited the Dems.
(AZ is auditing and another is getting ready to audit as well)

Somehow I do not think these questions will even be addressed, let alone answered.

Several WERE armed, like the woman who was shot (footage clearly shows her aiming a handgun between  the doors) - and that's why most of them weren't, police officers are permitted to shoot if their lives are in danger and an armed rioter is nothing if not dangerous.
Some of the cap cops were in on it, they were also armed and sheer weight of numbers made armed attack by the majority unnecessary. Why carry weapons when your prey is also unarmed? Pelosi and McConnell were both told by the boss cop that the NG wouldn't be needed, so that would indicate that the boss cop was probably in on it as well.

No. Ashley Bobbitt was not armed.  Show me the video with her armed....I have seen the video of her being shot...she was not armed.

No...the Boss Cop requested NG support more than once. And was denied...by the House Sergent of Arms and Senate Segert of Arms....guess who their bosses are at the time? Pelosi and McConnell. The DC Mayor also did not want NG.

Need to read some accurate news.

Rioters with weapons....are reason enough for police to shoot....I remember that next time BLM is rioting this summer. (I agree with statement by the way...but as I said Ashley Babbitt was not armed)

How many were arrested and charged with weapons? Between 14 and 23 have been charged.  Most people were charged with tresspass.   Again you do not take over the gov with a cell phone.  This post was edited by my2cents at May 21, 2021 5:48 AM MDT

    Hello my:

    1. It didn't happen.
    2. And if it did, it wasn't that bad.
    3. And if it was, that's not a big deal.
    4. And if it is, that's not my fault.
    5. And if it was, I didn't mean it.
    6. And if I did, you deserved it.
