What is the correct way to hang a roll of toilet tissue?

The first sheet of the toilet tissue is draped away from the wall (left image), or the first sheet of the toilet tissue almost touches the wall (right image)?

    Beards not mullets. Over is correct - it's the only thing I'm OCD about. I've even turned it over in other people's houses.

    On the dispenser.
