How frequently do you socialize with members of your extended family?

Rarely, other than a nephew who comes over and does some work for us. Everyone but my brother and a sister have long since moved away, and that brother died. I have cousins I have never met.

When we were kids, we had Sunday dinner at my paternal parents' home every week.  My aunts, uncles, cousins were all there.  When my nieces and nephews were young, we got together frequently, but once they got married and had children of their own and another side of the family had to be taken into consideration, I didn't see them nearly as often.  It also didn't help that some family moved out of New York.  

I don't anymore. However, they did stop socializing with me first long ago.

 

  It’s been over a decade. There are both tangible and intangible distances between us; neither side has made an effort to ingratiate the other side, and I am completely comfortable with that.

A few times a year on average. A bit harder to socialize with members of my mom's family since they all live in Japan but I'd visit them once a year most years.

Never.  My family was never into it. 

Everyone in my extended family is deceased except for a couple of eccentric cousins who thankfully live several states away.

Grandchildren, several times a week - our house shares a fence with the kindergarten/daycare they attend.

I don't have any extended family.

I email, text and facetime with them two or three times per week.  My brother and I went to our cousin's house at Christmas.  They were the only family we've visited since March 2020.
