There is thunder, lightening, gunfire and sirens blaring outside; where would you find quiet place your home talk to friend on your phone?

    Under those circumstances, there is no quiet place in my home - not even the bathroom as I have a window in there.  One of the things I've noticed since we are getting back to "normal" after Covid is just how noisy is my neighborhood.  Maybe it always that way and I just didn't notice it because I wasn't in the house almost all day.  There are days when I want to scream "STFU" out the window.

    I guess you need earplugs, would that help? I just remove my hearing aids when it gets too noisy outside.

    I hate the feel of anything i my ears  Why can't the world just lower it?  I think Mother Nature made a big mistake not giving our ears volume controls.

    Thunder and Lightning?

    I'd ask Chi Coltrane to sing along! LOVE this song! Love how she sings it, too!  :)

    With all the other noise, this song would help me feel better -  I don't like sirens, I doubt I'd enjoy gunfire, too. But I love "real" thunder and lighting and this song -- and they'd both help me enjoy talking with my friend.  :)

      One of the smaller bedrooms is situated and constructed in such a way that it provides a sound-barrier atmosphere.

    (Thunder is rare in this drought-stricken locale over the past decade, and in the multiple decades we’ve lived in this home, I can’t remember ever having heard gunshots.)
