I prefer the power-operated one. It's timed -- vibrates/lights up every 30 seconds - - I know I'm getting the recommended time in and the pressure is good.

According to my dentist and hygienist, they are. Oddly enough, they give courtesy dental kits when you leave and they contain manual brushes. This post was edited by Element 99 at July 25, 2021 4:59 PM MDT

No.  I only use the Colgate wave toothbrush.  It's because it has an extra small brush head.  When I go to the dentist she gives me a child brush in my goody bag.  I have a small mouth..........but I can make a lot of noise.

Does that mean you’ve tried electric ones?
Is the wave a manual one?

I use a Sonic Care every morning when I brush. I love it. I love the vibration feel, plus they clean so much better than a manual. They are the ones my personal dentist recommends.

In addition to its morning use, you also use it between meals and in the evening before going to bed, or do you use a different type at those times?

I know it might sounds strange, but at those times I just use a manual toothbrush. And if I was traveling, I'd probably just bring a manual too. I like both. I also think the vibration of the toothbrush helps wake my mouth up a little.

I don’t think it sounds strange at all, in fact, I think it’s a good regimen to follow.
