Do you think it is true that Trump had a Colonoscopy with no anesthesia?

In a new tell all book  it is said that when Trump made a unscheduled  trip to Walter Reed in 2019 it was for a Colonoscopy and that he refused to be put under because he was afraid to temporarily hand power over to Pence.  If that is true it might be another sign that Trump wasn't fit for office because he was suffering from paranoid schizophrenia  and since he probablly didn't get help for it he will still be unfit in 2024.  I also think  he put America in danger because if the Russians would of launched an attack  during his colonoscopy it would  of been pretty hard for Trump to punch in the launch coed while he had a camera up his butt. Cheers!

How would any of us actually know that?

They wouldn't. But I guess someone has to take Rosie's place until she gets back.

I disagree about the big shoes to fill. But, if you think it necessary to carry on the immature and irresponsible vendetta against a man that is no longer president, by all means, carry on. I'm sure somebody out there agrees with your tactics. :)

Funny how the Trump supporters and the far right will claim Trump is still president but when someone points out the mess America is in thanks to Trump they will claim nothing is his fault because he is no longer president. This post was edited by Nanoose at October 10, 2021 12:00 AM MDT

From what I understand, she got a new computer but AM doesn't recognize her computer or password. And so far nothing they have tried will allow her to log back in. Or something along those lines.

LOL.  I was concerned that maybe something of physical nature had happened to her. Then I was told about her computer and such. I agree though, I'm sure she's probably fit to be tied about now. Technology does have a way of spoiling the party for some. :)

I think his a$$hole is jealous of all the sh*t that comes out of his mouth,  can't just make an unscheduled colonoscopy appointment, there's a lot of things that have to be done before the colonoscopy , I say liar liar pants on fire! You probabally can make a unscheduled/top secrete colonoscopy when you are the president. The night before they could of snuck in a bottal of colonoscopy syrup into the WH  disguised in a Pepsi bottal so no one would be the wiser. I believe that it is true because it sure does sound like something Trump would do. Cheers!

Unless the President gets some type of colonoscopy I haven't ... it takes 2-3 days of "flushing" out your system before they do the procedure.

Of course, normal people take phone calls while sitting on "the throne" ... so I guess the President could, too.

How do you define "normal," and who gets to judge?

"Normal" as opposed to the "Elite".
People who don't get special treatment due to wealth, fame, nepotism, or who they know in power.

Anesthesia is really not needed if not wanted. Also, he got his orally.

It wasn't a colonoscopy, it was a throat culture.

I don't know about that the WH was pretty secret about it for a few days. Cheers!

    I was being facetious.

Seriously - The man put America in danger the moment he assumed office.  he doesn't give a rats posterior about any one or any thing other than himself.  he wants attention and will say or do anything to get it - regardless of the consequences.  he cannot allow anyone else to get even a hint of that glory.  If they do, he gets mad and pouts.  he is extremely mentally unstable!

    Don't know and don't care.

But it is common not to use anesthesia.

You really are a wealth of misinformation.

"Almost all colonoscopies in the United States are performed with patients under a level of sedation or anesthesia that prevents them from feeling anything. Often, patients are asleep for the entire procedure."

Your article is combining sedation and anesthesia. They are not the same thing. Sedation is done by just the doctor without an anesthesiologist. Insurance companies do not like to pay the extra money for the anesthesiologist.

In the US, as of 2003 only about less than 15% used anesthesia. This increased to 30% by 2009. It is still not even close to 100%.  (I will post links latter....my post did not save so I have to look them up again)

    https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2012/03/20/149003658/is-anesthesia-during-colonoscopy-a-luxury

In the UK less than 1% use anesthesia.

    https://www.cmaj.ca/content/190/6/e153

Around the world, however, up to 80 percent of routine colonoscopies are done without any sedation at all.

    https://ufhealth.org/news/2018/anesthesiologist-needed-routine-colonoscopies-maybe-not

So as I said it is common not to use it. This post was edited by my2cents at October 9, 2021 5:34 PM MDT

You're citing stats from 2003, 2009, 2012 and 2018.  You do realize it's 2021, don't you?  My reply referred to the United States.  Who cares what they're doing in the UK or anywhere else in the world?
