Has anyone seen "Unhinged" with Russell Crowe?

Wasn't that awful?  For the first time in his career Russell Crowe scared the living daylights out of me!

I haven't seeit. I like Russell Crowe, though. Or I used to. I haven't seen anything of his in quite a while. This post was edited by SavvyAnsley at October 14, 2021 6:43 PM MDT

I started a Russell Crowe film tonight but after 25 minutes I was still uninterested.  It was called A Good Year.

I'm pretty sure I saw all of that one. It sounds familiar. I usually like Ridley Scott's work.

I usually do too.  I may revisit it but it was slow at about the 20 minutes mark.  :)

Should of been called "A Bad 25 Minutes."  I have seen it, it was ok, but slow. Worse film I've seen was "About Schmidt," with Jack Nicholson, now that was painful.

If that was the one where his wife died and he went on an adventure, I kind of liked it.  It's been a long time though. :)

I believe you've caught my infrequent errors more frequently than Randy D. Someone's got their eye on becoming a captain!

I'm sure you'll be interested to hear that I have a private stockpile of infractions committed by Lt. D. For the right price, I might be able to send some of that your way. If he's any competition for the promotion, that is.

I thought it was a great movie.

Definately not the the normal type character for Crowe to play.  Looked like he gained 50 lbs in the movie I don't know if it was for the movie or he has just gained weight.

Remember always just a tap tap. :)

After seeing this I watched the film and it was disturbing for sure.  It was very violent.  Very.

  • Over the top violent and disturbing.  I was afraid to go into my bedroom in the dark later in case Russell Crowe was in there!

I’ll pencil you in on the rotation. It’s the best way to avoid such a mixup in the future.

Anyone who watches this and has their life on a mobile phone just got a warning.  Seriously, it is the least intelligent thing some people do.  I can't imagine storing anything in a mobile phone.  I don't text but if I did every one of them would be deleted upon reading or sending.  Using the calendar.............here is where I'll be on this date at this time..............come on!!!!

  • Yes, Thriftymaid, you make a very good point!  He had ALL that woman's info, names and addresses.  Scary wake-up call...password protect your mobile phone!

Oh, I'm not going to watch it. I'd need someone to pre-watch so they can tell me when to cover my eyes!

I would be happy if I had not watched it.  But I did.  After that I watched The Manor.    I guess  I was ready for an unpeaceful evening.  The Manor did have a surprise ending.

I was able to watch a couple of new-to-me movies recently. I typically don't feel like making the two hour commitment. More times than not, I feel like it was a complete waste of my time and attention.

    Nomadland was quite good.
