The entire system is 17.6 miles. I have been both across it and over the tunnel.

Yea and I hated every minute of it. I and any kind of a bridge don't get along and that includes the Woodrow Wilson Bridge too.

I have this crazy fear about bridges. I will usally charter a boat or plane before I will use a bridge that crosses a large body of water. Cheers and happy weekend!

Nope...over. The reason they built the tunnels is for ships to get in and out of the harbor.

I don’t know the exact distance, but it has to be the figurative bridge between my heart and the heart of a certain someone in Minnesota.

Well I can`t remember how long it was but it must of been pretty long because it was the longest suspension bridge in the World that connected 2 countries. Cheers and happy weekend!

The longest one I’ve been on is the Øresund Bridge when I went on my honeymoon in Europe.  It was like the one in Element’s pictures though.  Part of it’s a bridge and part of it‘s a tunnel.  The other long ones I’ve been on are the Howard Frankland Bridge and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Florida.

You’re just avoiding the fact that you and your husband came allllllllll the way out here to California but didn’t drop by to say hello to me.  (You want me to forget all about it, I know. I’m never letting this one go. Never! It goes to the grave with me! Grrrrrrrr.)

The longest bridge I ever traveled on is the Macinac Bridge here in Michigan. It connects the Upper and Lower peninsulas. It's 5 miles long, I drove over it several times in a car and rode over it a couple of times on a motorcycle. :)
