One of my cats has been missing all afternoon, where could she be?

She never stays gone this long...ever.  I'm worried.   :   (

She just returned home..after dark I might add. Sure wish I knew where she went.

Cats hunting instinct really kicks in at spring time so she is probably just hunting for mice. Cheers!

We've had two severe rain storms, the second one just started.  Thunder and lightening, she would normally come home with the first sprinkle.
Thank you for your answer though.  She's probably ok.

I’m glad she came home.  She was most likely hunting.  I have GPS and invisible fence collars for all of my pets so I know where they are all of the time.  That really gives me peace of mind about my dogs and cats.

Is there a male cat named Randy or Randall or Randolph living nearby? That would explain a lot. (Cough, cough.)

See? I knew it was a possibility. Find out what they call him and the mystery is solved.

Cats are evil bastards. She was probably just hiding to annoy you.

Probably hiding away laughing her head off at you trying to find her. Don't worry she'll eventually come back at feeding time or if it gets cold and wet.

I've had mine come back at 5 in the morning, but it was only 10pm last time out.

Probably hanging in the meat locker at the local Chinese restaurant.

That is a racist and  insensitive comment.

Well if you were in a group of Chinese  people would you say lets go to the local Chinese restaurant and order the cat? What ticked me off was a person was worried about their cat and you said it is probably hanging in a meat locker.

To start with, I wouldn't know if they had the cat there, but I would say let's go to the local Chinese restaurant and eat some authentic Chinese food, hoping that they might have some cat or dog on the menu.

    Anything else?

Yeah one more thing. Claiming to be a chief is honor theft - just like when someone wears a military medal they didn't earn.

All of my medals I earned, in combat. Including my CIB.

I also have native American blood running through my veins.  This post was edited by Chief Ten Beers at September 17, 2022 12:58 AM MDT

Mine trapped herself behind the drawer under the bed after I had taken some bedlinen out.
