Just over two years ago - my wife's iPhone got too old to update, so I had to upgrade it for her.

About a month ago, one that stays at my business to process cards.

The last one for personal use was at the end Dec 2021, but I dropped it and it was ran over by a truck and trailer with about 10tons on it.  I did have the insurance. I had to pay a $60 deductible on Jan 4  and the sent me an upgraded. Phone from the one I ran over.

About a year ago, I  bought my brother an IPhone. It's been amazing to see how someone so resistant to new technology has adapted and become proficient at using it. Who says old dogs can't learn new tricks?

My new phone is a flip. Talk, text, photos. I don't need it for anything else and it is 4G, and goes to 5G automatically. $22 a month with insurance.

He needed a smart phone app for his hearing aids. I don't fully understand why, but it has something to do with adjusting them on the fly so he can hear bird calls when he's bird watching.

It seems like everything needs an app.

What are the top five (fictional) apps that Randy D might need more than any others?

I had to buy a new one because of the retirement of 3g service provision.

I'm facing that issue now.  There are too many times when I can't get service lately and calls drop.  I definitely have to buy a new phone and soon.
