My wife has been in the hospital for a week. Today she was  told that she has 2 choices stay hooked up to the machines and last a week or so or be taking off the machines and giving drugs to keep her comfortable until she passes on. For now she picked staying hooked up. I don't want to go into details so I will finish with the words of a song that we grooved to when we were dating many many moons ago.
