There's no way I can afford a new fridge (the bottom fell out of the used cat hair market).  I've already had to turn over 3/4 of my pantry into a sanctuary for wandering dust specks (bunch of freeloaders!).

    (Comma after the word “increase”.)
(Only one question mark needed, not two.)
    (hard-earned)

Aren't you ever going to get a new uniform? That one is looking kinda scruffy since you have not changed for a couple of years now and your pen is skipping a lot also and as well.

Also and as well? Perhaps you should try to use more unnecessary words for greater redundancy.

In elementary school, I had a classmate named Larry who drove me crazy with his penchant for always saying “And also . . . ” Grrrrrrr.

As food prices increase, would you be buying will you buy a smaller fridge and smaller pantry spaces in order to save a small bit of your hard-earned cash?

Without getting into how tiring it must be to write (and tiresome to read) a dozen needless words, how does buying a new fridge help one save money?

The secret is buying a SMALLER fridge so you will adjust to buying less food and saving money by eating less of those expensive groceries.

Spending money for a new appliance doesn't save money. Why does one need a smaller fridge to buy less food?

Because you won't be able to squeeze beer (which is a food) into the little fridge so you will have no choice but to stop buying the stuff. As well as other unnecessary luxury kinds of treats.

But we don't all buy or drink beer. It's horrible for your health.

I'll cut back on other things before skimping on food. My grandchildren were malnourished by their mother, I'm not letting that happen to them again.

Why was she doing that? Please tell us it was unintentional, or at least based on being uninformed.

Can't see how that would help. How long would it take to pay for itself, anyway?
