Excluding humans & body parts, name 2 objects that have to be pulled apart from each other in order to work properly or to be used properly.

Some examples: a door and a door jamb, a Polaroid photo and its developing strip, a grenade and its pin, tape from its roll.

It's easier to throw it away before you open it.

Throw it away because it's not good for you or because of the difficulty of removing it from the can?

It's too salty for me, otherwise I like it. To remove it more easily from the can, remove the lid, turn it upside down and puncture the bottom with an ice pick or other sharp object.

I've been on a low sodium diet for over four decades. Most salted American foods are too salty for me. Wherever I can I use the low sodium versions, including Spam. It's only "low sodium" when compared with regular Spam, so it's sort of a misnomer. When I had a heart attack in 2018, my daughter came and cleared my cupboards of anything she didn't think I should be eating*. Just last week, I bought the first can of Spam (low sodium) since then. I've also had a polish sausage in my freezer for over a year. I only eat this type of food occasionally. That's when you really enjoy them.

Didn't I just post somewhere that I would love to have some corned beef and cabbage? I last had that almost two years ago.

*From May 2018 to September 2021, I kept a daily journal of the nutrients of everything I ate to maintain the accepted maximums (and some even lower than standard) in my diet. Sometimes, once a month or occasionally twice a month, I'd take a day off and have something special like cake, a hamburger or a reuben sandwich. Having things like that occasionally, helps keep me on track. This post was edited by NYAD at February 15, 2023 7:44 AM MST

Ahem, in this case, "jam" is spelled with a "b" at the end (door jamb).
