I had an 8 year old, a 3 year old, and a 2 year old. I was a full time housewife on a zip-a-dee-do-da budget. This post was edited by NYAD at December 18, 2022 8:12 PM MST

    “ . . . on a zip-a-dee-do-da budget.”

What does that mean, please? Inquiring minds are intrigued yet unsure.

    Yes, Element, exactly.

My children's father was a long haul trucker at the time. He was paid by check sent from the home office. All of his expenses during the month were deducted from his earnings before the check was issued. There were months that the  expenses were greater than the amount earned, in other words, a minus amount on the statement. I didn't work back then, child care was practically non-existent. And, believe it or not, I had never heard of welfare or food stamps. I did learn about those things a few years later and as soon as I could leave the kids alone, I did get a job. The husband walked out and I've been on my own ever since. This post was edited by NYAD at December 19, 2022 1:40 PM MST

1/2 of Zack would have been inside his Mother at the time of her birth. Women are born with their eggs.

The universe had not yet assembled the correct sequence of molecules that would eventual become known as "bevo" at that time.
