Can you post an unusual nickname for a job?

I was an electronics tech in the Navy and they called me twidget.

     I agree with Element (who is a veteran of the US Navy): I* have only heard ‘squid’ in reference to sailors, never to Marines (I am a US Marine Corps veteran). As you stated, Marines are referred to as jarheads, and in addition to that, leatherneck, Devil Dog, gyrene, sea-going bellhop are other nicknames of Marines.

      *I am not stating that you have not heard it that way, I’m only stating that I have not.
