Hi.  Welcome back.  Who thinks Donald Trump will be President again?  Oh!  I know this one!  Donald Trump!

Maybe the My Pillow guy also thinks Trump will be president again but he is crazy so it doesn't really count. Cheers!

I don't think he will be President again. Not sure what his first order will be if he does get elected but I bet it will be something vengeful. Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at January 24, 2023 1:55 PM MST

If he wins, something vengeful is exactly what a lot of his voters want.  That’s why the two-party system is bad for democracy. It does exactly what the founders of the USA said it would do. This post was edited by Livvie at January 24, 2023 1:55 PM MST

Long time no see.  Welcome back.

Yes, Trump will be elected President in 2024. His first order will be to secure the border.  This post was edited by my2cents at January 24, 2023 1:55 PM MST

Hey there, Rosie! I don't suppose Trump will be elected again... But I've been wondering if, in retrospect, more people on either side of the divide might have preferred Bernie (twice).

He won't be nominated, and run as an independent, and split the anti-Biden vote, thus guaranteeing a second Democratic term. His own base is starting to turn on him now - the trading card thing annoyed them and the "red ripple" showed that he's a spent force, practically NONE of his picked candidates got up in battleground districts. Hard-line Trumpicans like to point to the raw figures - yes, 200 of them did get up but picking a Republican to win in, say, Kentucky, is meaningless - they are more likely to elect a brontosaurus than a Democrat. He won the ones he already had in his pocket, added almost nobody new.

Who do you think can beat him in the primary?
No one.  Even if DeSantis and Trump split the vote it does not leave enough for a weak 3rd candidate to overtake them.

You're forgetting that the primaries are still the best part of a year away and nobody else has been desperate enough to formally announce that they are running yet.
