Is there a maniac edge to Pink Floyd music or something that is irritatingly irrational?

It could be evil even.

Whether maniac, irrational or evil, I'll take their music over most of what I hear "out there."

And, as far as evil music, know that as a 15-years-old guy, I fell in love with composer Jerry Goldsmith's very definitely evil original music score to the original "The Omen" movie.  I would listen for hours and hours to the original soundtrack album I had (ask my parents and siblings, ha. I remember one evening in particular I started listening to it and my dad quietly-yet-strongly said, "Not tonight."  ha! )

Here's the opening theme to the movie:

    "Ave Satani"

You do realise that Old Pink (Sid Barrett) spent quite a lot of his life in the funny farm after frying his brain on acid, right?
