I'm not sure about favorite, but I definitely enjoyed Miss Beedle on Little House on the Prairie. This post was edited by SavvyAnsley at May 26, 2023 8:28 PM MDT

When I last visited the US, I went through Walnut Grove, Minnesota. Nellie's Cafe was closed, so was the museum.

I didn't realize there was an actual 'Nellie's', but had read about the museum. Watching, reading and playing Little House on the Prairie were all big parts of my childhood. I related to Laura's love of nature and sense of adventure, as well as being the middle sister.

I read “Little House in the Big Woods” first. She wrote it before “Little House on the Prairie.”

Same. I read them all in order. I remember my favorite in the series was "Little House on Plum Creek", but I don't recall why.

I haven't watched much of Leave It to Beaver so I googled Miss Landers. She's the subject of some strange fan fiction.

“She's the subject of some strange fan fiction.”

Martina, I tried to read up on the strange fan fiction that you mentioned, but I couldn’t find anything. Can you cite a source, please? Thank you.

I can't find it now. The story I found was a foot fetish story about Miss Landers. This post was edited by sirena Martina at June 2, 2023 3:08 PM MDT

Wait, is that all? I thought she might’ve been a sandwich-maker or something. Grrrrrrr.

Yes, I know. That’s also woi what I reiterated in my comment to her.

What am I missing here, what’s your point?

It doesn't matter that she can't find it, whatever it was it was made up (fiction). You could make up your own "fan fiction". like a sandwich fetish.

These are my favourite episodes of The Simpsons. They were never on television. They're the work of Dark Simpsons.

I haven't seen this movie but I can guess why she's your favourite fictional teacher.

My favorite teacher in a movie is Mr. Clark.  However, Mr. Clark is not pure fiction.

One of many (too numerous to count): Jamie Sommers on “The Bionic Woman” TV series, as portrayed by actress Lindsey Wagner.

I didn't know the character was a teacher. I've had my own daydreams about being a bionic woman.
