It is illegal.

NGO is a non-governmental organization.  If a taxpayer contributes to an NGO, that's a voluntary, private (not governmental) contribution.  How is that illegal?

The NGO is being funded BY the GOVERNMENT of California.

What happened to my comment as well? Since the post I responded to is still there, it's a puzzle. It contained no inappropriate language,  no disrespectful comments directed at other users,  or anything else that could reasonably be considered as a violation of the terms of service. It was the deletion of my comment that caused the deletion 9f the comments that you and Pet Eater made. I'm certain that discussion of the features of the answerMug site could not be any sort of grounds for removal, so I apologize for whatever egregious comment I made that interfered with your discussion. 

If I remember correctly, you said there was no point in continuing the discussion—which, based on how my past deleted comments were judged, would be considered dismissive or disrespectful. That really leaves two options: either keep going in circles with a pointless argument, or admit you're wrong to someone who's clearly determined to be seen as the victor on every single 'discussion' point they're involved in.

I forwarded the message to Just Asking to  see if she agrees that is disrespectful to make a comment to another user.

I saw it earlier and figured it was collateral damage, as Jane says.

Trying to keep track of what is and what isn't censored is exhausting.

In addition to forwarding the censored post and explanation to JA, I also forwarded what I considered a truly disrespectful comment the moderator made to me. I am hoping that more people than just myself are keeping her aware of these issues.
