    Too much is to be gained from dragging it out. Plus, how can all the "nice tech" companies signal that they're "good" if they have nothing to protest?

    Woah, woah, woah. Wait. A. Minute. The nice tech companies just supply the "platforms" and "languages" and "hardware" and "developer kits". They're NOT responsible for what people do with them. But they CAN protest what they don't like people doing with them (if they think it will hurt their Millenial PR, and thus their profits.)
