What is missing from your modern life?

For me it was adventure.  Now that I'm not tied down to a job, I can travel for adventure.

Where would you like to go?  I'm going to be traveling in February and March.  We are going to Mardi Gras with friends and then on to visit family and then head to the mountains and from there we may go up to New England if the weather is not horrid.

In April we are going to Ecuador for six weeks and in July we are going to Scandinavia for two months.  I wanted to go back to Scotland.

Sounds divine.  I have not been to Scotland and want to.  My brother is putting together something for 2018 for a Scotland trip.   I am trying to decide about one of those Viking river cruises on the Rhine (Basel to Amsterdam).  If we book before Jan. 31 the price is half.  Everyone around me loves to go on Cruises.  I won't go out on the ocean.  Period.  But a river cruise may be one I can do.  I have been in Europe a  number of times but never Scandinavia.  Maybe  when we go for Scotland.  Ecuador is somewhere I've never thought about.  I will love to hear about it in the Fall when you get home.

Hello Thrifty.  I've already been to Ecuador five times.  If we're not friends already, I'll send you a friend request and tell you what I know about Ecuador in private.  Cheers.
