  • I once sat cross-legged on the floor staring at the phone. My youngest son, who was used to my strange ways, said, "What are you doing?" I told him I was trying to use the power of my mind to make the phone ring. A few seconds later it range.

It took him about two minutes to realise that'd I'd been talking to somebody who said, "I'll call you right back."

    Kids are so trusting. :)

    Barely.

I don't know who the guy is but he's handsome and he and the gif were cute I thought. I've not watched that show.

He is a looker.  I hate to admit this.  So, shhhhhh but it is one of my favorite shows.  You might like it too.  If you are waiting, someday, for a phone call from Don's twin from a different mother and a Thursday night, turn on WB.  Most of the cast is pretty good looking.  If for nothing else,  you could look at pretty men.  ;) ;) This post was edited by Merlin at August 17, 2018 8:55 AM MDT

My first reaction was "reaching for a book." More likely, staring blankly into space for what feels like five minutes until the phone call irks me.

... not waiting on any damn phone.
If it ain't important enough to tell me without "calling me back" - they can wait until I feel like answering the phone.

    LOL

Well if I am expecting a call I usually sit next to the phone and stare at it (so I don't miss the call). To pass the time I will sing theme songs from 60's and 70's TV series like - the Beverly Hilbillies and Gilligan's Island. But I sing them in my head so people don't think I'm crazy or an old Fuddy Duddy. Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at August 17, 2018 9:26 AM MDT
