  • I say it's fine if they aren't willing to secure it.   As long as you aren't doing anything illegal then it's no harm.

    Hey,  they are bringing a free wifi connection into your house if they aren't locking it down.   I would however be careful since it does leave you vulnerable to an attack being on it.     There are cases of people leaving open wi-fi signals to hack into people who link to it. It's also possible that others with ill intent are accessing it.

  • Meh, probably not a great idea now that Comcast has a data usage fee if someone goes over...but I'm sure they'll just think that they've used too much interwebs.
