Are you sure? I heard Ben stole quite a few things from George Washington's first televised state of the union speech. 

That's not entirely accurate. George Washington clerked for Leonardo da Vinci's law firm, and was responsible for translating the Twitter feeds into English.



While he didn't exactly steal the quote itself, he was inspired to tweak one of da Vinci's tweets into a loose version of it when he appeared on an episode of Celebrity Family Fuedal Lords 'n' Ladies. (Of course, it was the radio version; everyone knows that Lewis and Clark had not yet invented the television camera then.)

But, you have to admit that since the Troglodytes invented Instagram,  Da Vinci did an excellent of teaching his students to take selfies. His best student with her best selfie:


She even managed to hold the camera down in the mirror at Ye Olde Starbucketh so you didn't even see it.
