No.  If she kidnaps you and take you into another state to kill you then yes. This post was edited by Thriftymaid at June 24, 2017 6:42 AM MDT

i MAY have crossed the line with this, Thrifty, but I have had it with this nonsense of spamming with tilde questions and I really wonder why people think this is something we need to discuss ad nauseum.

Just ignore them then.  I pass over many of them.  They aren't hateful or contemptuous or otherwise unpleasant and they are not repetitive; they are just silly and, like you know, mostly have nothing at all to do with tildes.

Are you serious?   This has been going on for 10 years now.  They are insipid and very repetitive.  Give me a break.  I am done grousing about it.  I am not going to troll the poor guy like he does to another member on here that acts the same exact way.

But the intent is there, Thrifty. If the plan is hatched in one state and carried out in another, that's interstate travel for the commission of a crime. If she were to travel from Arizona to California and then plan to kill me, no dice, but in this case, the plot is already hatching.

(By the way, just in case I mysteriously disappear or am found dead under questionable circumstances, you already know whom to turn in to the police.)

Intent doesn't make a crime a federal one.

If a law is broken a crime is committed, whether or not the authorities choose to enforce such law and whether or not the perpetrator was ever caught.

No. In fact, she can turn in your hide for a bounty.

If she kills you, it's a crime whether she crosses state lines or not.  If she takes you across state lines to kill you, kidnapping is added to the charges.

EDIT:  I misinterpreted the "federal crime" description.  I was thinking "felony."  So, killing you in the same state is a felony, but dragging you to another state to kill you is a federal crime as would be kidnapping by crossing state lines. "former big sister" ~ sorry, but that is a semantic impossibility. Your big sister is as as stuck with you as you are with her. Even after she die (or you do) she is still your big sister.

We've mutually disowned each other, therefore, "former".  Actually, I should have specified my fake former big sister, or my fake online former big sister.

She used to love me, but her hatred of tildes has separated us. She's an anti-tildite.

Reminds me of a pair of embroidered cushions I saw---One said "I smile because you are my big sister," and the second pillow said, "I laugh because there is nothing you can do about it."
