AnswerBag refugees, do you remember the barrage-posts of Anonymous Girl, Tanzanite, Amber and others? ~

I loved and appreciated their rapid-fire postings of several unrelated questions in quick succession because they were funny, interesting, engaging, lighthearted, sometimes serious, sometimes very silly, covered zillions of different topics, and were completely inoffensive to anyone on the planet.

The current AnswerMug series of bombardment being posted by someone else, however . . .

    Miss you too, JA :)

I'm still around. You all are one of the reasons I'm working up to buy a computer.

My personal training fees are paid off!!

I do indeed.  Some of them were fun, funny, and good questions.  Some were sappy.  I miss the site.

I remember the names but guess I was looking for more than just funny and interesting and lighthearted and inoffensive.  AG I cultivated as perhaps the daughter I never had but wanted to have.  There was a time I made plans with my husband for her to live with us.  But she had her own life to live and eventually we had a rather unpleasant parting of the ways. We all bring various parts of ourselves to the site table and who knows what we may end up with? AB was very important for her in a different way than it was important for me.

That's nice. And hurtful. Why did you never try to adopt me? I'm 26 and I like macaroni.

Three years since you asked, Randy, but yeah, I sure remember. Golden Age, wasn't it? As long as one ignored all the other stuff!

    Really?????

Why do you write so differently nowadays? Besides that, according to AG (Anonymous Girl), the other Amber got married about two or three years ago. You, however, got married about a year ago, correct?

    Hmmmmm . . .

i got married in April 2017, so several years ago

i originally joined AB when I was 13, and changed my screen name frequently but it was always still my name with something added
I’m 25 now though so maybe that’s why it seems different

Ok, but the differences in writing styles and in general subject matter seem to stand out much more than just passage of time would dictate. It’s also possible that I’m remembering a completely different person also named Amber.

if you’re remembering an Amber who drowned the entire happening now page In an endless stream of unrelated, random questions; trust me, it was me

The one I remember used uppercase letters at the beginning of sentences and used proper punctuation. I could be remembering incorrectly, I do admit that.
