Firstly, I don't think he's a saint. He's just a good man not a traitorous communist / fascist **** which, given the low standards we're used to, is exceptional.

Secondly, he is not an object of ridicule/ disdain/ fear WORLDWIDE. This is only SOMEWHAT true in the parts of the world that the emerging world government, the "new world order", controls.

Trump is somewhat the object ridicule/ disdain/ fear for following reasons -

    1) The far left scum hate his guts because he's destroying socialism.
    2) The corporate fascist scum hate his guts because he's restoring the free market which undermines their hegemony.
    3) The liberal masses don't respect him because the mainstream media (owned by the corporate fascist scum) have programmed them not to. They are not emotionally, intellectually, or spiritually capable of thinking for themselves.

Socialist Canada (where I live) is rated as significantly better place to live than capitalist leaning USA.
    Figure that one out.

Firstly, the U.S. isn't capitalist leaning. It has one of the highest rates of corporation tax in the world, massive debts, and unsustainable government spending that is leading the country closer and closer to bankruptcy. It's the PEOPLE of the U.S. that have such leanings relative to other western nations. Trump is the first president to actually attempt to reverse the rising tide of socialism. Capitalism died a long time ago. Why do you think Trump appeals to voters to "make America great again"?

Rated by whom? You read that in the mainstream media somewhere so it must be true?

Whether it IS or ISN'T better is irrelevant. The real question is what WILL BE not what IS. It is extremely noticeable how the liberal masses constantly use the present tense. No foresight whatsoever. Socialist policies are unsustainable and they will sooner or later cause economic collapse. Your argument is like saying "People who borrow every month on their credit card enjoy a higher standard of living than people who save." This is true, but only before bankruptcy not afterwards.

The U.S. economy, and the western world in general, is based on unsustainable leftist lunacy and it will collapse in ruin unless radical action is taken. This post was edited by Zeitgeist at October 13, 2017 3:41 PM MDT

Well give Trump 4 years or 8 years and see how great again he can make America.

    No big mystery.

And you seem to disingenuously forget to mention that Canada's socialist policies had the Maple Leaf well on its way to insolvency a while back. Canada was running out of "Loonies" (the money, not the "leftists"). Then your government implemented massive cuts to many of those socialist programs in an attempt to save Canada from insolvency, and it worked. So a better question would be why hasn't that been widely reported?

Now if you could just fix your socialist medical system. But fortunately for you you still have, for the time being, the good old USA where your people can flee to for serious medical treatment.

Any cuts to social programs did not affect me on old age pension. I still got (successful) treatment for cancer in good time.
I used to follow the news quite well,  not so much anymore. The ratings I read about best countries to live was from 2015.
I'very heard USA has excellent state-of-the-art medical equipment but your insurance people avoid making best use of it because it is costly.
Medical costs me 0 dental costs me 0 annual senior's bus pass costs costs me $45.00... This post was edited by Kittigate at October 13, 2017 5:37 PM MDT

Funny that you draw that comparison.

Many of the "Saints" were actually hated in their day, at least by the existing "authorities". Many were even martyred like both Saint Valentines were (yes, there were two of them). Both were killed by "the powers that be" because they both advocated "draining the swamp" of the entrenched political power structures of their respective days. There are countless others . . .

So maybe you're onto something with Mr. Trump.

And by the way, you omitted a word from your question. That second sentence should read "WHY is he an object of LIBERAL ridicule/disdain/someone to be feared worldwide?" to be even remotely accurate. This post was edited by Salt and Red Pepper at October 13, 2017 3:43 PM MDT
