Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» What would happen if Trump reversed his position (he does that ya know) and SUPPORTED the Constitutional right of players to protest?
The "players" are at work. The field is their office so to speak. There is a time and a place for everything. If they want to protest, they should do it during non-working hours.
Again!? Really?! You have no argument. You are completely unable to debate with us. I have lost count of how many times we’ve explained your legal ignorance to you.

It doesn't take a legal genius to read that the 1st amendment says "Congress shall make no law..." not "The president shall not criticize people..." or "An employer shall make no rule about acceptable behavior...".
People are ostracized and fired all the time for speech people find offensive and the left champions most of it.
If Rosie thinks it violates the spirit of the constitution, then she needs to be logically consistent. She needs to tolerate all the racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic speech that the left is so sensitive about. Though expecting the left to see its own hypocrisy is clearly too much to hope for.
If you think I'm legally ignorant about something, you need to actually explain what it is. You need to actually make argument.

Does it matter WHERE you protest? Your personal problems have NOTHING to do with dishonoring the flag. Hundreds of thousands of Americans have died defending that flag, stand at attention while the anthem plays.
