I just hope that they don't make habit of it. Nobody's perfect and are bound to mess up occasionally.

Im never met anyone who has let me down, not in my eyes anyway.  When I love someone, I love them unconditionally, that includes letting me down.

Does your unconditional love include allowing folks to walk all over you, abuse you verbally or physically, demean you, lie to you, cheat on you? I am not a fan of "unconditional". Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday to thee. I'm gonna ask a question about it. This post was edited by RosieG at November 8, 2017 3:11 AM MST

I am so sorry that you had to experience that as a child palmagolden. That is something I shall never understand. Women who can just walk away from their children. They don't seem human to me. They certainly are a different species of human being than normal moms. I probably would have done the same thing you did. Just withdraw from life for a little while until I got my bearings. Thank you for sharing that with us and Happy Wednesday m'dear! :) I think I'm going to ask a question about it. See what folks have to say. The only one who never let me down is a guy I haven't seen in fifty years.
