    That is strictly a Greek thing, and mostly among Greeks outside of Greece. People inside Greece don't think much of it, and nobody knows how it got started.

    They exchange rings. The groom usually puts the wedding ring next to the ENGAGEMENT ring she has been wearing for quite a while.

    At some Scottish weddings most of the Men that are wearing Kilts near the end of the reception they lift up their Kilts and show off their erect c*cks.

    I was at a wedding where the bride and groom smushed pieces of the wedding cake into each other's faces.  Which really seemed rude and nasty.  Later when I asked them about it they said it was a tradition.   Hmm - not one that I had ever seen or heard of.
