Why do retail outlets tend to go directly from Halloween decorating to Christmas decorating, while completely skipping over Thanksgiving?

  • Thanksgiving isn't a decorations kind of holiday. A cornucopia and an uncarved pumpkin or two is all there really is associated with it.

    lost it's magic as time went on. After all when families can't see one another anymore for whatever reason you have a lost holiday. Christmas is heading in the same direction, soon it will be just a religious holiday like Easter is. And there is nothing wrong with  that.

    Because the stores make a ton the very next day on Black Friday sales. Usually it involves people buying Christmas presents.
