Should AnswerMug's "Rename" button be changed to "Edit"? It appears that almost no one knows it's function as it is right now.

When members post a "question" (actually, AnswerMug labels them as 'discussions' instead of 'questions'), errors, typos, clarifications, etc can be made at any time by the authors, but it's rarely done. I believe that few people are aware that it's available to them, and that may be due to the way it's named.

Campaign to Rename, but the Function Should Stay the Same.

Why can't it be " Edit"?  Editing aptly describes the action taking place.

I'm just trying to understand why you think edit isn't the best option, that's all.

  • It doesn't always work.   Half the time it tells you there are too many characters in your correction even when you are deleting characters.

  • I vote "NO."  I use that button all the time.

There is already one "edit" button on that line
of commands and two could be confusing to some.
