  • Given my current lifestyle, no. I'm a vegetarian.

However, if I was a Maori before the invasion of New Zealand by whites, yes.
In that situation, people had hunted out all the animals; only small and elusive birds remained.
People had learned basic agriculture using the few native edible plants,
and they took huge risks with fishing and whaling in the open oceans.
But they had become so over-populated for the sizes of the islands that they were
suffering severely from wars among the tribes, malnutrition, and starvation.
A common source of food was to eat the conquered enemy.
If I had lived in that culture, was starving and offered a portion of human meat
I probably would not have refused.

Too much risk of getting some disease dicease. Horse meat is much safer, there are practically no horse diseases humans can catch. This post was edited by JakobA the unAmerican. at January 5, 2018 7:41 PM MST

Nope. I've heard that human meat tastes like pork - so unless it's cured into bacon, I'll pass.

The only temptation is the fact that it IS taboo.

    Yummy.

I don't eat flesh at all.

I know this sounds barbaric, but I can think of a few humans who I'd much rather see die to become food than pigs or cows or other animals some people eat.

    Given a choice, no.
But a prospect of starving to death has a way of changing one’s perspective. This post was edited by Don Barzini at January 6, 2018 12:22 PM MST

The propaganda arm of the Beast System is working hard to NOT make it taboo. Hollywood, a department within mainstream media, the propaganda arm,  secretly indulges. This post was edited by O-uknow at January 6, 2018 12:08 PM MST
