Have you had an apple fritter?

I am craving them and will make some today. YUM

    Very good and very easy to prepare. Just cut apples up into small pieces and drop them into whole wheat pastry batter with a little salt and fry in hot sesame oil or safflower oil.

    Ick! I've never tried one, they just don't look very appetizing to me. I'm not a fan of apples and I hate cinnamon. Is there a cinnamonless peach version?

    You can make them anyway you want and you don't have to add cinnamon. Any fruit will do.

    They are good if they are made right.  I have had the good and also the really bad.  When they are good they are light and crispy, when they are bad they are greasy rocks.
