    I lose.  I've never broken a bone (so far).  I've only cracked or tore pieces off of 'em.  The worst I had to wear was a (arm and foot) and then only for less than a week.

    Sorry about that, it was supposed to say, "...was a sling (arm and foot), and then ....".  

    Evidently my spelling insurance didn't cover the first 'sling' (I hadn't met my deductible yet?).  Either that or I used an 'out-of-network' keyboard to type my answer.
