Nothing.  I believe I live far enough away that it wouldn't affect me directly.

Sorry to hear that.  I live in NYC.  We have a lot of problems, but volcanos are not one of them. :)

Before it erupts -does anybody know if it ever helped when the ancient people sacrificed virgins to the volcano gods?

Get a bottle of single malt, some good smoke and three tubes of sex lube. We are in the two inch ash radius.

There are no bible prophecies about any supervolcano happening that I know of.

In fact the bible predicts an end to sin, suffering and death and a beautiful earth to live on -so sorry no big supervolcano.  This post was edited by Kittigate at February 23, 2018 8:19 AM MST

I don't think so but I might have to study 'Revelations' very carefully see if I can pick up any subtle kind of clues.

The bible mentions great earthquakes as part of the composite sign of the end of the present system of things. (Matthew 24:3-8; luke 21:7-11)

What do you do, just answer with bible quotes now?  I guess that is a good way of learning and also comforting.  Not a bad thing to do at all.

Hi sharona, sometimes i am pressed for time thus the reason i am brief and to the point. I always try to answer with a bible scripture since no one can and knows how to comfort us better than the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort. (2Corinthians 1:3,4) :)

I can, but don't. I never crack my Bible without praying for insight first. It's neither a science textbook nor a history, and shouldn't be abused that way.
Anybody who claims to understand all of the Book is either self-deluded or lying outright.

The same thing I did when I heard of the threat of a super in the Pacific Islands near Hawaii.  Nothing.  What is there to do?  We are screwed.

I'd point in the direction of Yellowstone and give it the finger.
