If you are a NATIONALIST with EXTREME RIGHT-WING views you are a FASCIST. You do know that don't you?

FASCIST
"A person who is dictatorial or has extreme right-wing views"

FASCISM
"A governmental system led by a dictator having complete power forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism regimenting all industry, commerce, etc. and emphasizing an AGGRESSIVE NATIONALISM AND OFTEN RACISM"

Now Mussolini in Italy was a FASCIST. Hitler created HITLERISM just for the Nazis but since the goal of HITLERISM and NAZISM was to exterminate everyone who wasn't German especially the Jews he was a NATIONALISTIC FASCIST as well.

Any parallels to the current-day USA under TRUMPISM you are free to make on your own. I don't have to draw you a map.

Fascism is actually a species of socialism. It's about using socialism to tax the people and then funnelling that money into insider corporate interests. Fascism is not a free market philosophy. It's about rigging the market. So called socialised healthcare is textbook fascism. Expenses are socialised to the people, profits are privatised for the insider corporations. (Real socialism would be nationalising the medical industrial complex and putting all the medical technology patents through a shredder.)

To you, anyone to the right of Mao is "extreme" right wing.

Even looking at your own poor definition of fascism, Trumpism fulfils none of it. The keyword there is "forcibly". Who has been forced to do anything? Who has been threatened with violence? Who been put up against a brick wall and shot?

The right tolerates all the leftist trash that are wrecking society with surprising tranquillity. They are treated far more gently than they deserve and should be grateful for the constant restraint the right shows. This post was edited by Zeitgeist at March 1, 2018 6:18 PM MST

Fasicm:  a political system headed by a dictator in which the government controls business and labor and opposition is not permitted.
    .....
a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition.

Right wing does not favor gov control of economy or labor. It is not the right wing who is trying to shut down free speech. Rioting at conservative speeches, rioting at protests, having "free speech zones", etc.

I once had a neighbor like that. When he moved, he had a 'moving' sale. He had some items for sale that he kept covered up except for certain adults to see. He showed me some dinnerware with swastikas printed on them! I told him that my father was wounded by the Nazis in WW2.

Oh my golly goodness bh. You had a Nazi neighbor? Oh my goodness. So what did the Nazi say when you told him your dad  had been wounded in WW2 by the Nazis? Isn't it sad that today in 2018 there is an AMERICAN NAZI PARTY? I'm assuming your dad has passed away but if he were alive how do you think he would react to something as disgustingly perverted as that? SIGH. It was called Hitlerism and Nazism but it was certainly FASCISM. The rise of FASCISM in America is unbelievably sad to me. A once-despised and rejected way of life has returned. The more things change the more they stay the same. A sad truth. Thank you for your reply!  :)

In my father's later years, he became proud of his military service as more and more of his 101st Airborne Division activities began to get more historic (and heroic) note.  He was a 'Battling Bastard of Bastogne'. He marched into Germany and helped liberate consentration camps.

Oh my gosh bh! Thank you so much for sharing that with me, with us. I am now teary-eyed . I think you know I'm of Armenian descent and we had our holocaust at the hands of the Turks and lost 1.5 million Armenians. So I relate to the Jewish people as if they were my people for a variety of reasons  but mainly their horrible tragedy at the hands of the Nazis only they lost 6 million not 1.5 million.  I thank you for what your father did. Those last 4 words..."helped liberate concentration camps" must make you feel so very proud. He was a triple B.. and a double H. Historic, Heroic and he survived it to tell you about it. Whew! That is some heritage you have there m'dear...some pretty nifty DNA!

In the grand scheme of things, I don't really care what people label me as. It's funny that the terms you've used are practically dropped like the "N" bomb. This post was edited by Zack at February 24, 2018 7:51 AM MST
