    When I was about 10, my grandfather would take me to this old-fashioned 'soda fountain' in town. This old guy made the most delicious ice cream malts.  He would pour in spoon after spoon of Carnation (powdered) chocolate malt and mix it with one of those stainless steel mixers that everybody had in those days. That was the best tasting stuff ever. Today, I still buy Carnation chocolate malt, but the flavor just isn't the same.
