For those who are old enough. Are you EXACTLY the same as you were 30 or 40 years ago? Donald John Trump is! No change. You didn't know?

He is still the same self-centered braggart obsessed with fame and women. No change. No change. No change. Isn't that strange?

Attraction to attractive women is typical of a bigshot billionaire.  And a Democratic President named Clinton. That's the way God planned it.  Men are attracted to da babes. I have put on about 30 lbs. of fat since I was in my 40s. This post was edited by B.H.Wilson at March 18, 2018 4:27 AM MDT

Also typical of any heterosexual male---rich or poor.

Gosh bh that is not good. The fat. Please try to do something about that. It isn't hard. I promise. Just eat food that is healthy for you. It can be VERY DELICIOUS.  Veggies mostly and beans and fruit (in small quantities because they are LOADED with natural sugar which is not so good for you) and nuts and seeds and lean meats. Please try. I know you can do it  if you just put your mind to it. Thank you for your reply and Happy Sunday. Sure guys like the babes. But cheating SOB's should not be prez. I know JFK cheated and Clinton cheated and  John Edwards ran for prez while his wife Elizabeth was dying of cancer and he had a pregnant mistress on the side. The doofylucy outshines them all as far as I can tell. I heard that even Ike had a honey on the side and FDR had a gal too. Not all of them are cheating bums however. I mean would you dillydally a porn star and take her as your mistress and dillydally others too right when your fairly new wife gave birth to your son?  That is low man.  the jacka** doofylucy denies it ever happened yet $130,000 was paid to shut her up. For what? Why pay so much for nothing? He is a cheapskate who is notorious for stiffing folks. You really think he'd pay someone, even a voluptuous hot babe, for nothing? Seriously? SIGH. Men and women will never see eye to eye on this. Thank you for your reply! :)

About 30 years ago is when I first started gathering the information and knowledge that has shaped what I now am and how I now act---and what I have become is quite personally rewarding.

(I knew Don Barzini on a previous site before we both came here.  I think he has become what he is in a similar way (except for the timing---he is younger than I am)---and although we have come up with different convictions (primarily regarding the existence of a god) we respect each other's Intellectual rigor in having come to those beliefs in how we promulgate them.)

"Change is a law of our being." (Human beings always change---but whether it is for the better or for the worse is not predetermined, rather it is up to us to pursue the good as opposed to what we, through our own failure, perceive as good when it is actually a manifestation of evil.)

One basic principle of being is that "First you are, and then you act."

On a personal level---in my opinion---the historical figure Trump seems to most clearly resemble is Caligula, the mad emperor of Rome.

Records depict him as a cruel and unpredictable leader.

I see Trump as consistently continuing to devolve.

Yes. With a God-like complex who demanded to be worshipped as a God. I asked a question about that very thing a few months ago. I came to the same conclusion. Doofylucy sees himself as worthy of being worshipped. He DEMANDS it. As did Caligula. Or else. Thank you for your thoughtful and helpful reply. I remember years ago...decades ago..when I was in junior college. My favorite class was philosophy and really though I was always an excellent student I never gave much thought to the mechanics of why I excelled in school. In that class the teacher (he was not a professor) rarely made statements. He asked questions all the time and threw them out to us and then sat back and watched and listened to the interplay/interaction among us. In one session I specifically remember being made aware that my mind was working very well and I was in fact more than just participating. I was even leading some of the discussion. That shocked me. The realization of that. I was a painfully shy child and wanted nothing more than to be invisible for so many years. To have gone from that to a person who had the nerve to "sass" the teacher? Well I didn't exactly sass him. He asked me a direct question about what I thought about something. I forget what. He said "I don't know the answer" and then he turned it over to me. I said "Mr. Hallman. With all your years of study and teaching if you don't know the answer why would you expect me to?"  A small thing certainly but the entire class cracked up. He was laughing too. Me. Shy little me. Imagine that? For you it might well be a silly thing to remember but it was at that moment I realized that I could participate and be heard and not make a fool of myself. I was 18 . I am now 80 and I still remember his words and my words exactly. A very vivid memory. It's odd what things open us up isn't it? And as an adult after a divorce I dated him for a few months. We met in the halls of the junior college one evening when I was going to night school taking economics and accounting. Small world...8 years later!  Thank you for your reply tom! :)

An interesting story.  It's a good feeling to realize that.

Not every child grows up believing that he can stand up to other adults and still survive.

Thank you for your indulgence tom. At this age and this mindset I am surprised at the shy little child I used to be who wanted invisibility more than anything being whom she is today. You know the stockmarket dove 724 points on Thursday! I hope you are not adversely affected. Where d/ya think it'll go today? More down or some up? :(
