What do you like to watch on TV/Internet?

We got rid of cable four years ago and only watch Utube and Netflix. I like to listen to Brain Meditation Music, do Yoga glasses , LIsten to inspirational speakers like Ralf Smart, or just surf around looking for odd documentaries or quality documentaries to watch. What do you like to watch .

  • I use both mainly for research.

Sometimes use U-tube to watch TED talks, the latest Tango dancers,  or brilliance in horsemanship.
When I have a bit of free time, I'm pretty eclectic and dart all over the place.

  • Well ..... I was mostly interested by how closely it could/would stick to the game and intrigued by how many scenes were portrayed that couldn't have been copied from any part of the game.

Anyway ... the movie, so far, has two parts and doesn't get very far into the game, but a lot of work and excellently done.  Even if you've never played the game, you might find the movie interesting.

I watch the local morning news to hear the weather while my son is brushing his teeth.
Then I watch Bering Sea Gold once a week on the Discovery Channel and then Jersey Shore once a week on MTV.
Sometimes I watch a show called "The Challenge" on MTV.
Otherwise I mostly watch CNN occasionally to see what's happening.
On the internet I just message people and read dating profiles or look up random stuff.

I got rid of cable four years ago as well.  I do have access to the sports channels online though...that's important to me.  The only TV I want to have.  I'm laughing at me.  I like to watch good movies and they are generally independent and/or foreign film.  I like Netflix but do not watch anything made or produced by them.....usually touted as a Netflix Original.  I also like to watch docs on Netflix.  I watch some older TV series.  Some of them are really quite good when you can just watch without commercials.  I have never been good at, and I will never ever watch something for an hour or half hour every week.  But I will watch several episodes of something in one sitting pretty much daily until I finish the whole thing.  I learned about this back when HULU was new and good and free and ad free .......before it was bought by Disney.  Lost was the first series I ever watched online.  I knew right away this was the only way I wanted to watch shows.  I have an antenna for the broadcast networks but only tune in when a hurricane is coming or for college sports events.

I almost never watch tv.. I am starting to wonder if I should.. mainly because I feel increasingly left out when people say, did you watch.... So I might change my habits.. I like things about people, documentaries, science programmes, historical - especially if it's about people.

I do love films though, and my preference is for action films...

I also love old tv ... currently watching Quincy M.E. on tv.. If I had it on DVD I probably wouldn't watch tv but I do think/feel I am missing out by not watching tv.

News, The Tonight Show, Late Night with Steven Colbert, NBC News, PBS Newhour.  I liked Breaking Bad a lot and plan to watch the next season of Better Call Saul when it comes on.  We also liked Vikings but haven't seen the last two hours of the last season yet.  Tonight I am watching Elysium on Amazon Prime.

I liked Benny Hill, but they cancelled it.
I liked James At 16, but they cancelled it.
I liked Desert Storm, but they cancelled it.
I liked Lazy Town, but they cancelled it.
I liked History Channel, until I got tired of refighting WW2.
I liked Animal Planet, until it became Animal Cops.

I haven't watched a tv in years. I notice they don't have channel numbers any more, so I can't even operate one now.
