Maybe also with some Ivory Soap, its ‘99-44/100% Pure: It Floats.  Coined  December 21, 1882.

That percent purity is definitely impressive, but it changes slightly when you contemplate 99.44% of "how much"---I can deal with .56% of a little dirt left behind, but not if we are talking about truckloads to begin with.

As long as it doesn’t come shaped in “pods” they might eat, ...who knows?
But it won’t do anything to clean their conscience or their reputation. This post was edited by Don Barzini at June 20, 2018 8:48 PM MDT

I am not intolerant of people who hold different opinions than mine---that's the definition of a bigot.

I am intolerant of the ignorance and/or poor judgment that frequently lies behind any  opinions that differ from mine.

And I am required to respect (by the TOS ---terms of service of this site)--- those whom I think demonstrate such underlying qualities.

Fortunately, I am not required to either esteem or admire such opinions.

(Edit:  Does that sound arrogant?---sorry if it does.  In some areas, of my life some people are like a high school kid who just took a class in physics and thinks he's going to successfully challenge the late Stephen Hawking.)  This post was edited by tom jackson at June 20, 2018 11:42 PM MDT

And I do respect that as a lawyer (you are, unless I am mistaken) you have to be prepared to make a case for either side if the legal process requires you to do so.

At my age, I tend to pick and choose my cases.
