Quite infrequently as a lasting delete, but if or when editing a post or correcting typos, I usually delete the old and post the corrected version.

      And you?

Very rarely. When I look back on some, I wish I would have.  It's a wonderful thing that most of our brains filter out the hogwash and only keep the good.  How well that works as we get older, I'm not sure.  It might work the opposite.
The grand total of deletes that I can remember are three and possibly four.  This doesn't count the two-minute grace period I believe we have when we hit the "Post Reply" button and it posts.
I do a lot of editing during that time. This post was edited by Merlin at July 15, 2018 11:08 AM MDT

There's no grace period on AnswerMug; anything you post you may delete at any time.

Hi Randy :)~ I see.  Well, I sit corrected.  In Merlin world, there is a delay and I have the golden opportunity to change an adverb into a verb or a comma into a period before the little status line prints out.
I might have the terminology wrong.  Grace period isn't something a person hears now-a-days... Or.....
Maybe the Universe just likes me better and gives me those extra 2 minutes, just in case....  ;) :)

Never, unless they get duplicated in cyber-space. Each and ever question of mine is a gem, a pearl of wisdom :P

It was an anti-tildite post again, I'm willing to bet. Grrrrrr.

Tilde. A Tildite is a person born in the town of Tilde. A Tildene  lives there but was not born there. (That is a Hebrew convention. Other societies have different conventions.)

I have never deleted a question. I have deleted responses when it turned into a negative exchange.
