    Yes.  Cost?  A grand per battery.  Such a deal.
    When they put addictive additives in tobacco so you get hooked, when they refuse to make pantyhose that do not run, do you think they are going to give up this addiction for electricity and owning how to dole out as little as possible to make the most money?

    If you mean "self charging" analogously to "perpetual motion machines"... Only if they break THE most fundamental Law of nature - the one on which the whole Universe relies!
