Buy records. But I tell you what, if there isn't an occasional interruption by a human voice, the music begins to sound dead.

Records would have to constantly be flipped over and/or changed.

That's true of vinyl records. CDs have to be changed every 40 or so minutes. MP3 can play an entire folder of records without interruption, repeating if you desire.

I have a personal music provider who plays several musical instruments.

When he gets tired we listen to cd's or watch music video's.

    your...

We have a high school nearby that has its own radio station. They play only 50s and 60s oldies continuously, however, the range is only about ten miles. The only breaks they take are mandatory station ID.

Sweet.  It's getting harder to find stations that play the oldies.  Even harder to find stations that don't have a couple of DJs that do more yakking between themselves than playing music.

I forgot to say the students run the station. It is my favorite station.

I figured that since it's usually the cast when the broadcast is at a school.

Cable music channels. There are currently 86 to choose from on my provider.

  • "Open media player and click on the Cusco play list."  I've already done this scores of times and with just about thirteen hours of Cusco music, it can be a long time before I might hear the same song twice.

  • A subscription to Pandora. I use it at work. The music plays for hours without interruption. The only downside is sometimes songs repeat, and sometimes it plays things that I don't really like (but then I just skip them).

Play it in your own mind 24/7.  That's mental but at least you won't bother the neighbors.

  • I don't listen to much music at all, not even while driving.  I prefer to hear what's going on around me.  I don't hate music, I prefer quiet when I have the choice.  That's mostly because I suffer from frequent migraines and I don't want to get one started.
